Over the past 5 years, our employee levels have doubled and, due to ever increasing and constantly changing legislation, our HR function became impossible for us to handle 'in-house'. Lorna Alkhersan the PPS HR supremo, visited us, took away our current handbooks and contracts and, within weeks, re-wrote the lot in line with current practice .

Our HR systems are now 100% up to date and we've since used PPS to advise us on disciplinary matters and to train our supervisors and managers in some of the key areas of Human Resources. PPS has been a great help to us! The ease with which we have got up to speed is a testament to the effectiveness of this service. We would recommend it to any small business

Why an HR Healthcheck?

Paramount Personnel Services HR Health Check includes:

A preliminary, no obligation, discussion with you to assess your potential requirements and answer any questions you may have about the depth of service we offer

A visit your premises to undertake a review of current practices and procedures - This is the 'HR Health Check' which takes 1.5 hours maximum and in many cases will be totally free.

After we have done our HR Health Check, you will receive a detailed HR Report highlighting areas for improvement, together with the relevant cost per item and prioritised in terms of urgency (i.e. legal requirement or not) and offering an action plan and recommendations. You have the option of working through the Action Plan yourself or with us.

Our fees for further consultation and services can be charged on either a one-off project basis - agreed between us in writing in advance, or on an ongoing retainer basis should you require it for any particular issues of concern.

Now, have a look at the individual tools to choose which best suit your needs.

Employment legislation states that you must issue all permanent employees with a Contract of Employment or written Statement of Particulars within two months.

It is a legal requirement to include details of your company’s Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures either within the Contract of Employment or as a separate policy.
There are now 10 ‘areas’ of possible discrimination – are you aware of what these are and how they could affect your employees or business?
